Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information SharpEye Studio ("SharpEye," "we," "us") collects when you visit getsharpeye.com or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. In short: we collect what you send us and basic information about how the site is used, we use advertising tools from Meta and Google, and we don't sell your information for money.
Information you give us
When you fill out the form on our site, we collect your name, email address, business name, the project you're interested in and any message you write. If you email us at hello@getsharpeye.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use this information to reply to you, prepare a proposal and, if you hire us, do the work.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to collect information such as:
- your IP address, browser, device type and approximate location;
- the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, and how you arrived at the site (for example, from an ad, a search engine or a social media post);
- whether you submitted the contact form.
We use the following tools, all loaded through Google Tag Manager.
Google Analytics
Helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google explains how it uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Meta Pixel
A tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram) that helps us measure our ads and show ads to people who have visited our site. Meta may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect or receive information from our site and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads.
Advanced matching. When you submit our contact form, the Meta Pixel may send your email address to Meta in hashed form, meaning it is converted into a scrambled code before it leaves your browser. Meta uses it to match your visit to a Meta account, so we can tell whether our ads led to an inquiry. Meta does not receive your email address in readable form from our site.
Google Ads
Helps us measure which ads lead to inquiries and show our ads to people who have visited the site (remarketing), on Google and on partner sites.
How we use information
- to respond to your inquiry and provide our services;
- to understand how the site is used and improve it;
- to measure our advertising and show ads to people who have visited the site;
- to protect the site against spam and abuse;
- to comply with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business:
- Formspree, which processes our contact form;
- Google (Analytics, Ads and Tag Manager) and Meta (Pixel), as described above;
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and may log basic technical data for security;
- Apple (iCloud Mail), which hosts our email.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Your choices
- Ads on Facebook and Instagram: manage how Meta uses data from other websites at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- Ads from Google: turn off personalized ads at myadcenter.google.com.
- Google Analytics: install the opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Interest-based ads in general: opt out with participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Do Not Track. Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common industry standard for them. You can use the options above instead.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Email hello@getsharpeye.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and client records for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet tax and legal requirements, then delete them. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS and we limit access to your information to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
